TML 17 started it's first batch of matches all in the late evening to avoid as much of the heat (thank you TML Operations Manager).

Football can be a cruel game is so many ways yet it also brings the best out of teams and players.

Saturday afternoon Hachioji Park hosted a bit of everything. First up saw Swiss Kickers play FC International in a 4-4 thriller. The second game was Real Celts v Dutch FC. Half time saw both keepers on top as it was 0-0.

FJ TOTW MATCHDAY 5

It's always interesting to see how promoted teams get on in a higher division. Currently of the 5 teams who gained promotion throughout the TML, one team, Dutch FC seemed to have adapted to life the quickest.

FJ TOTW MATCHDAY 31

A TML first, joint FJ TOTW winners. Division 2 has been under represented so far this season when it comes to this award so this will go someway to even it up.

Dutch FC reached their first FJ Plate Final by recording a 5-1 victory over Lions FC. Amazingly it was their first victory in normal time in the competition. 2 goals from Shoya Miyashita and goals from Numao, Sato & Komishi was enough to fire them to next months final.

A week off from the pitch didn’t do much to change the fortunes of the Vagabonds at either end of the pitch as they continued to limit the opposition to a few clear shooting chances. However it will be of some concern that they haven’t managed a goal in the last two matches and rarely troubled the opposition goalkeeper throughout the match.

King George Blow Nine-match Losing Streak by Winning

King George FC 4 Dutch 2 YC&AC, Sunday 5th April 2015

After a winless four months, KGFC produced a commanding performance to stun relegation rivals Dutch FC 4–2 at the YCAC ground.
