TML22 has finally kicked off with most teams playing their first game. An exciting see-saw game between Kilimanjaro and Jetro down at the freshly renovated YC&AC pitch had Kilimanjaro come out victorious. Brunello's first game in Division 1 was a rough one. A very physical game between YeBoiz where YeBoiz pounded them 3-0. But of all the games, the most lopsided result was between BEFC and Clash. A 6-0 win for BEFC, a statement that they are ready to try and win the league this season! New team that joined this season, Teranga FC, had all the qualities of an African team. Strong, physical, and arriving late to their games! Their debut game was a 5-0 win, which isn't surprising considering their roster had quite a few players that have played in division 1 before and a player that has played pro before!

Despite having a late start to the season (started end of September), the season wrapped up the earliest it has in the past decade (June 15th). It was a compact season, with the cooperation of teams getting their games played (instead of forfeiting/rescheduling). The new season will begin on the weekend of August 31/September 1st!
