A big TML weekend with 8 games played! Aaron Balogh, one of leagues veteran refs completed his 600th TML game. Enormous mile stone accomplished!
Coming back from a 5 month break, Real Celts beat YC&AC 3-1. This is their first victory after 6 months of no wins! Hopefully Real Celts can gain some momentum from their third win of the season!
In Division 3 Saitama Jets stopped Albion Old Boys 6 win streak in Saitama. Albion Old Boys have been on a tear recently so this loss may slow their progress down.
A delightful weekend for football, with the temperature cool and the skies void of rain.
Albion Old Boys wins the Robert Walters team of the week after their back to back wins against BFC Vagabonds. Their first encounter was a 7-2 win and they continued their momentum into this week with a 7-3 win! Takuma Ueyama has been confirmed to be the kryptonite of BFC Vagabonds, scoring a total of 7 goals in their last two encounters. Ryan Cranblitt also scored a hat trick establishing himself as one of Albions key goal getters.

A few turn of events occured on the weekend of March 20th/21st.
With BFC Vagabonds forfeit against Saitama Jets, it solidifies Brunello and Clash FC as the two teams getting promoted. Eastern Capital have also guaranteed a first place finish in Division 2 with the second place team being a toss up between Dutch FC, YeBoiz FC, Nepal United. Division 1 winners are also still up in the air with FC International, Pumas FC and Hibernian FC.
By far the biggest news was the outcome of YeBoiz FC vs BEFC Lions (FJ Plate quarter finals)
Team of the Week goes to Clash FC over their win over Brunello FC at Shigaku. A 4-1 victory giving Clash FC their 7th win in a row. Brunello are currently at the top of the division with 10 points clear from the second place team but that did not stop Clash FC.
Hopefully everyone has been staying safe during this pandemic. I know many people have been going "bat"-shit crazy after months of not having any football!

In midst of the corona virus looming over Japan, the international Samurai 7's 2020 went ahead on March 21st. A beautiful sunny afternoon welcomed 12 teams to the YCAC pitch.
