The final battle for some TML silverware saw Jetro face Division 3 specialists Shane FC. Both teams had the chance of promotion. Jetro needed to avoid defeat and Shane needed the 3 points. The game was played on a lovely Sunday morning at YC&AC. With both teams having a big squad, substitutions were frequent. Both teams huffed and puffed but were unable to break the deadlock. The nil nil draw was enough for Jetro to return to Division 2 for the first time in 2...
Last month saw Tomasz Motyka referee his last TML match. He will be staying in Japan but due to new work commitments he cannot find time to referee at the weekends. Tom has kindly written a summery of his time involved in the Tokyo Metropolis League. Thank you Tom.

By the start of November the footballing world was all talking about Chelsea and their fight against relegation. Star players not performing, revolts against the management and the regime, the season was going to be a long one. Tokyo Hibernian were in a similar situation with 4 points after 5 matches but then they managed to beat table toppers Swiss Kickers 6-1. The rest is history as they say winning 12 in a row ending with a emphatic 4-0 victory over Oakwood Geckoes...
A one nil victory for the Pumas was enough to secure the Division 2 title and back to back promotions. To top of a good few days for Pumas they have won the latest FJ TOTW award. Congratulations Pumas. Special mention must go to Musketeers who secured the Division 3 title.
With the first silverware up for grabs it was a tough choice for the FJ TOTW. We have opted for Swiss Kickers. After going a goal down after 12 seconds, it took them a while to get hold of the match. Goals from Shimon Kato and Captain Yusuke Tanaka was enough for Swiss to claim the famous FJ trophy.
Kanto Celts FC have come the 6th winner of the FJ TOTW award. With the pressure on table toppers Swiss to increase their lead at the top, goals from Satoshi Mitsuda and Celts newboy Shotaro Fujimatsu was enough to overcome a strong looking Swiss team. This fixture will be repeated this weekend in the FJ Cup Final. Could Celts become the first back to back winners of this award?
With only two matches played over the Golden Week weekend, Real Celts have won the 5th edition of the FJ Team of the week. A hat trick from Shousuke Yamagishi and 2 goals from one of Division 3's leading marksman Michael Dragsbaek helped Real to defeat Guts SC 9 goals to 1.
