FJ TOTW MATCHDAY 4
Announcements - September 17th 2016
Last season saw Kanto Celts take 4th spot ahead of Panthers FC by a goal difference of +2. Saturday the capacity crowd at Hachioji Park got to see how both teams had improved their squad over the Summer months. It was time for Panthers FC to parade their new Summer signing Nicolai Jessen-Peterson, the most prolific forward to come from Denmark since Brian Laudrup and Mikkel Beck. Kanto Celts are still coming to terms with former Captain Andrew McGoverns late last minute transfer to the Sunday league in England.
The game was played at a good pace but Nikolai was the hero on the night. A ht trick on his TML debut, Koji Oguro continued his fine form from the last 2 seasons to also score for Panthers. A convincing 4-1 victory has made them the worthy winners of the FJ TOTW. Well done.
