Quarter Finalists determined for the ESR FJ Cup

The quarter finalists of the ESR FJ Cup and plate have been determined! Some very interesting teams from both sides. Sala and Suns were the only 2 D1 teams that got knocked into the plate and with Suns gone, Sala must be the favorties to win it. Don't count out Clash or Brunello though, both of them are formidable teams when they are on their A-game. On the cup side we have BFC, the only D3 team left. Certainly the underdog that everyone is keenly following.

ROBERT WALTERS TOTW (March 5th)

With over half the season's games played, the standings are beginning to take shape. Some teams are still fighting for the possibility of winning their division, others are fighting to avoid relegation. This is perhaps the most exciting part of the season, where the next few results could solidify their team's fate. With this in mind, FC Sagarmatha who are currently in first place, could not afford to lose their game against last place Albion Old Boys.

First round of ESR FJ Cup complete

With the first round of matches kicking off on the weekend of January 14th, the first round of the ESR FJ Cup was finally completed by February 12th despite some games being rescheduled due to weather.
Typically the teams of higher division have all made it to the next round but a few notable giant killings took place. BFC beat Sala, YeBoiz beat Suns without the match going to penalties. Sala and Suns are the only two Division 1 teams to get knocked into the Plate.

Robert Walters TotW (January 22)

The Robert Walters Team of the Week goes to Suns, after their hard-earned win over Hibs. After their win over Eastern Capital back in September, Suns FC have struggled to see a win. Having just faced another tough loss the week before in the ESR FJ Cup against YeBoiz, Suns were determined to change their sails. And what better place for a team to take a new direction than Atsugi Cancha, a new pitch for TML and with Noguchi Naoya, a class 2 licensed new ref for the TML.
