I went to watch the Plate Semi Final between Sala FC and Imperio FA! One of the first things I saw was a Sala player struggling to find one of his green shinpads seconds before kick off. Luckily it was found. The shin pad belonged to Shu Nakatani. A name I often saw on the referees reports for the goals he scored. He didn't disapoint by scoring a hat trick on the night. Let's get to know Shu a little more before he plays in his first FJ Plate Final this weekend.

What do you like about the TML? Even though I live in Japan, it seems like I'm in another country. I also really like the atmosphere in the TML where everybody does their best and fight really tough. .

 Which player would you compare your style to? I always watch Neymar's play before the game even though my play is devastatingly different from his...

 Have you ever played for any other TML teams? If so who and how did you end up playing for …………..? ?  No, I have a true loyalty for Sala FC. lol

 What is the highest level of football you have played at?  I used to play in the Chiba first division when I was 18.​

What makes your club special?  Sala is just like a big family.They always help me out not only about English and football but about life , I mean , to be a gentleman.

Where was your first ever TML match and what are your memories?  I played at the Redsland and it was surprised to me how strong they are. Because it was my first time to play with foreigners.  

Favorite TML venue and why?  Zozo Park absolutely. There's a lovely surface and furthermore it's very close to my home.​

Best player you have played with?  I've played with super lads so it's difficult to choose one though, my older brother Fuyuki is absolutely class and Neil is also a special player. And I gotta mention about Lenny. He is definitely a true legend. ​

Best player you have faced?  Caio who used to play for Kashima Antlers. He was simply class. ​

Who is your best mate in the team? I think I can get along with all my teammates but if I chose one, I would say Shunya Yamai.​

Funniest moment before, during or after a TML match?  Always getting pints is lovely memory!​

Tell us some amazing facts or interesting experiences you have lived through? I had a car crash when I was 15, though doctor said to me I should have been dead, I didn't even get injured! Thank you my God!
